Donna Yetzer

My name is Donna Yetzer and I have lived in Hidden Valley Lake for 12 years.  I am currently on the Board of Directors and have served in this capacity for the past five years and would like to continue.

I am retired from The Kroger Co. for which I worked in the Human Resources Department for thirty years.  Working with 401K plans, stock plans and other deferred compensation packages gave me the opportunity to educate employees with One-On-One sessions, employee seminars and training workshops.  I have the ability to listen and therefore, learn, and identify potential issues and resolutions.  I am flexible, organized, and work well as a team member or alone.

Personally, I am a fiscal conservative.  It has been and still is a goal of mine to enhance the HVL assets while staying within a predetermined budget.  I would also continue to work with community input determining priorities, setting budgets and keeping meetings open.  I would urge participation in governing this community.  I believe Hidden Valley offers a truly unique lifestyle and have encouraged a marketing plan to promote the many amenities offered to residents and potential homeowners. In the past five years we, as a Community, have seen many positive changes.  We sold property to Dearborn County Hospital; purchased property on Stateline, currently being used for our Maintenance Department; as well as other properties with potential to benefit our Community.  The Hidden Valley Golf Club was purchased, and is now much more resident friendly than in the past.  We continue to update our Marketing strategy.  We have added a new user-friendly website; have hired a communications expert. Our Community Master Plan has been developed and is currently our guiding force. Thank you to the many people who have been a part of these enhancements.

A core belief of giving back is deep-seated.  I am involved with the St. Vincent de Paul conference in our church,  have served as coordinator for Hidden Valley’s Helping Hands in the past  and as a Board member. I encourage residents to get involved, to the extent in which their time permits.
