ApproveArchitecture Meeting Minutes for May 17, 2023.

Motion to approve by:  Bob Maudlin         Seconded by:  Alan Kohlhaas

Old Business:  None

New Business:   Scott King, a community resident owning contiguated Lots #2341H & 2745 at the corner of Alpine and Matterhorn, was seeking information regarding procedures for applying for a permit to build a detached garage on lot 2745 with a concrete driveway that would have its entrance on Alpine Drive. The home’s driveway that goes to an attached carport is on Matterhorn. Tom Cross answered all of his question so Mr. King can feel confident in his ability to proceed with his need to apply for a permit.

Compliance Officer Dan Tester explained a situation involving a resident who installed a new fence on his property without obtaining a permit. Dan sought advice from the Architecture Committee as to whether or not a fine would be appropriate in this situation. The Architecture Committee unanimously agreed that a fine would be appropriate.
